Their first date was at Trattoria Il Panino, a charming and romantic restaurant right on Hanover St. in Boston's North End. Not only were there fireworks at the dinner table, but also in the sky, as their first date happened to be on July 4th. It was this moment that both of their lives changed forever, for they had finally found the love of their life and their story was just beginning. Little did they know that this street would become such an important focal point for their relationship throughout their lives...

After first meeting that summer, their relationship began. During this time he was working on his MBA while she was completing her nursing degree. They went on vacation to the beach a lot... some of their best summer moments came from visiting Nahant Beach, Singing Beach, Mayflower Beach and most importantly, Gray's Beach.

Having reflected on one of the most special trips that they went on together, they began a tradition of visiting the Cape every summer because it had all the things they both loved, the sunshine at the beach, delicious fresh local seafood and crave worthy ice cream. Kevin proposed.
