Our Story
It all started with a difficult dog named Ella.
In 2020, Amy brought Ella to Natalie’s dog training business in Chicago, sparking a friendship that was as chaotic as a puppy training class. Natalie saw Amy as funny and smart—and a little in over her head with Ella. Amy, meanwhile, was completely taken with Natalie's supportive nature and helpful spirit.
After being friends for about a year and a half, they passed the ultimate test: the time Ella bit Amy's leg instead of Natalie, the decoy, because she got confused!
It wasn't long before the friendship turned into a great love. They bonded over mutual love for backyard dinner and movie nights, reality TV marathons, and hanging out with an impressive collection of 13 animals they both adore. So on a snowy night at the Joffrey Ballet, during intermission, Natalie asked Amy to marry her.
We're so excited and so grateful to have all of you in our lives as we begin our forever.
