Our Story

A Summer to Remember

In the summer of 2021, we both casually swiped right—uncertain but curious, not expecting much beyond a simple connection. Our first date was a movie, but the real spark came afterward as we drove around, talking and laughing. We found ourselves enjoying each other’s company more than we expected. From that night, everything felt different. Every date became its own little adventure, and the chemistry was undeniable. We spent our time together in a way that felt effortless, savoring the ease of being in each other's company. With each shared moment, the excitement of new love only grew. Whether we were trying new things or simply enjoying each other’s company, our connection deepened with every passing day. Then, reality hit. “I’m leaving for grad school in a month,” Patrick said one evening. Instead of pulling back, we made a choice: to lean in. “Let’s just see where this goes,” Natalya suggested—the uncertainty of the future only adding to the intensity of the feeling. Weeks passed, and our bond deepened in ways we didn’t expect. Even when Patrick left for grad school, we promised to hold on to what we had, navigating the distance with late-night calls and quick visits. Time only made us stronger. When Patrick finally came back home, we both knew what we had was something worth building on. Moving in together felt like a natural next step—each day a reminder of how far we’d come and how much more we could create together. What started as something light and temporary had turned into a love that was steady and sure, proving that sometimes, the most unexpected beginnings lead to the most lasting connections.
