How Our Love Story BeganHow Our Love Story Began

First comes God's work, then comes forever.

Our paths crossed at work, where I had just started as a receptionist, eager to grow in the legal field, and Marcos was an intern working toward becoming a tax lawyer. From the start, we became great friends, laughing over the silliest things and joining our coworkers for happy hours after work. As time went on, our connection grew deeper, and we naturally started spending more time together outside of work. It soon became clear that Marcos wasn’t just my best friend, he was someone truly special. That realization led to our first official date on November 4, 2021, at a Miami Heat game. The energy of that night made it unforgettable, but what made it truly special was when Marcos asked me to be his girlfriend. From that moment on, we’ve been inseparable, building a life together ever since.

Proposal DayProposal Day

May 14, 2024

Nataly: We decided to go to Spain for our birthdays since we're both proud members of the Taurus gang (jiji). Marcos planned everything; the flights, hotels, trains, restaurants. I was a full-time passenger princess. We spent time with Marcos' family in Madrid, visited La Sagrada Familia and Camp Nou in Barcelona, and then flew to Mallorca. Marcos was eager to practice with the drone we had just gotten-- I genuinely thought he was just planning an epic Instagram reel. Marcos: I had a rough idea of where I wanted to propose because Nataly would always show me TikToks of her favorite spots in Mallorca. I knew it had to be near Cala Deia or Sóller. So, I came up with a plan: propose on a mountain overlooking the coast and then celebrate in the nearby gardens surrounded by olive trees (No, not Olive Garden). That morning, I woke up extra early and asked the hotel concierge for the best mountain spot for filming. They suggested: Far des Cap Gros. As I drove up the winding road, my heart was pounding, not just from the nerves, but also because those steep curves were terrifying lol. Nataly: We drove to the top and hiked through some shrubs to find the perfect open spot for the drone. At that moment, I thought we were just going to film a quick Instagram video and leave. I had no idea Marcos had planned the most incredible proposal. I’m beyond blessed to have the most thoughtful and creative man God could have given me.
