City museum is a wonderful learning playground for the young and young at heart (and probably knees too). Slides, caves, climbers, a bus, a praying mantis? Forest Park is one of the greatest treasures of the St. Louis area. Beautiful green spaces and playgrounds and natural areas in addition to one to the top zoos in the country and amazing science center, history museum, and art museum. Great local food surrounding the park too.

so many activities and beautiful outdoor spaces. Mountain biking trails and paved trails for biking, walking, running. lots of play grounds, shelter houses and picnic areas. Sailing and other non motor boats and crafts allowed, but rental house closed at time of wedding. Go Ape tree play ground (high ropes course) located in park.
