Is the time zone different?

Answer

The time zone for Fremont, IN is Eastern Time. For some, this may mean an hour ahead or for others, it would be the same time they are used to.

Will it be inside or outside?

Answer

The weather is a mystery because we all know Indiana. We are currently planning on it being half inside and half outside. The ceremony will be outside and the reception will have tables inside and outside. The wedding is at the end of May so hopefully, it will be a nice warm day!

Do we need to pay for a plate/request type of food?

Answer

Don't you just love a wedding that provides the food? We have you covered! The food will be buffet style. A menu will be provided on the table upon arrival, just bring yourself and come hungry!

How long is the drive from northwest Indiana?

Answer

It depends on where you are located. The drive can range from 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours. The ceremony is late afternoon to allow guests to drive in the day of to save money on an extra hotel stay, but it is your choice!

Answer

Fremont, IN is a small town just outside of Fort Wayne. It is in the northeastern tip of Indiana

Open or cash bar?

Answer

We have purchased a bundle of alcohol, beer, champagne, and wine for everyone to celebrate; however, if you are all the big partiers we know, it might tend to run out. When the bundle we purchased runs out, the bar will go to a cash bar. The average price for drinks will be $3 - $5!

Does the barn have air conditioning/ heating?

Yes. the barn has both!

Is the barn handicap accessible?

Answer

The bathrooms will be handicap accessible. There are many steep steps as it is a historic barn; however, the main floor (tables) and dance area are both accessible without stairs. There will be a back entrance.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There will be a whole lot designated for parking.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would like to invite you to dress as you would for any other formal event. We would suggest bringing comfy shoes. the dance floor is concrete! Also, possibly a sweater in case it gets cool at night. If you forget, there will be a warm bonfire to cozy up next to!

Is there an age limit?

Answer

As of right now we have maxed out our capacity (without kids). As much as we’d love the little ones to come, we are out of seats. For that reason we have set an age limit to 16+. We have room for a few additional people, but with all kids combined we will be well over the limit. We apologize in advance.
