The ceremony location has a large parking lot so you can drive there easily. From there, you will need to drive to the reception location. You can either park at your hotel and walk over to the Coopers Tavern, which is a fairly short walk and will be the best choice if you want to take advantage of the open bar ;). If that does not work, there is a parking ramp a block or so away from The Coopers Tavern called the State Street Capitol Parking Garage (address is 214 N Carroll St, Madison, WI 53703). If you need a ride, contact Natalie or Tristan and we can coordinate finding someone for you to carpool with, but try to let us know before the day of.
Please try to contact Natalie’s best friend Emma instead of us if you have questions on Saturday. She lives here too and loves to help. Her number is (507) 382-1158 and you can text or call her.
While we are so excited to celebrate this milestone with you all, Saturday will be pretty busy for us. Check out the “Things to do” page for ideas on what you can do while in Madison. We can’t wait to see you at the wedding!
We aren’t very strict but think cocktail attire.
Average highs in April are in the 40’s and low 50’s.
Plan to arrive about 15 minutes early. Though we can be flexible, we would love to start on time so we can get to the dinner location to eat, drink, and be merry (and married)!
The ceremony will be about 15 minutes long. Please plan to be standing for that length of time as no chairs will be provided.
Nope! We are getting married in the tropical conservatory so it will be nice and toasty.
After the ceremony, we will likely be taking some photos before heading over to dinner. Please plan to stick around as we will want some pictures with all of you!
Once we arrive at The Cooper’s Tavern we will have cocktails and appetizers. Dinner will be served at approximately 6:30pm. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten sensitive options will be available.
Yes! See question below.
Though we want everyone to have a great time, it is more important to us that everyone we love is safe. We hope that folks will choose to stay in hotels that are within walking distance of the dinner location, but if that is not the case for you, please check in with us and we can arrange some alternative transportation. There will be non-drinking guests who will be more than happy to get you where you need to go safely. Alternatively, Uber, Lyft, or a good ol’fashioned taxi are great options.
