We met in high school Shawn was a senior and Natalie was a sophomore. It really was meant to be, we were polar opposites but our connections to others brought us together, and just like that we fell in love. We became more connected through basketball and other similar interests and before we knew it we knew we would be together for a very long time.

It was the beginning of Natalie’s senior year, and Shawn was already out in the real world, his parents sat down with us to offer Natalie to move in with Shawn seeing how it has been 2 years together already. We got to see how it was like to live together. At first it was very different, Natalie was homesick from her parents, but she knew that it wouldn’t be long… Natalie and Shawn were meant to be.

Finally we were on our own as full fledged adults, after living in two other places together, once with Shawn’s parents and once with our roommate, we finally decided to live on our own.

These two dates we decided to bring two littler critters into our lives. First was Jedi our big nerd of a dog. He is lazy and such a goof. Next was Gigi our special dog. She has such a good heart she is just so scared of the world. Both of them brought us closer together and we wouldn’t give them up for anything in the world.

During a vacation miles and miles away from home, Shawn took Natalie to an edge of a cliff and did NOT get down on one knee he stood there and said “Look at me” Natalie was very confused, then he said “Will you marry me” and Natalie’s first response was “What?” And “Is he serious?” As his parents laughed and cried while recording, Natalie finally got the memo and said “Yes I will marry you.” After that our vacation to Arizona was complete and there was no better day than that.
