Travel & Accomodation

We share an immense passion for traveling and exploring new places and cultures. If there's anything we've learned over the past year, it's cherishing time with those closest to us. That's why we're absolutely thrilled to extend our invitation to our family and friends. Join us in celebrating our special day, indulging in life's finest joys— travel, lively celebrations, exquisite cuisine and wine — all set against the backdrop of this beautiful island. Let's create unforgettable memories together!

Flight

India

Family and friends flying from India, you will likely arrive in one of the major European cities like London, Frankfurt, Madrid, or Barcelona. From these cities, there are direct flights available to Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI), the primary airport serving the island of Mallorca. Depending on the major European city of your layover, you will most likely be flying with British Airways, Lufthansa, or Air India.

Flight

US & Canada

For our family and friends traveling from the US and Canada, might we suggest to take 5 days off from work and enjoy 9 days of vacation ? You're only a short flight away from many gems Europe has to offer. Reach out to Shash for 'consultation' when planning your trip. Direct flights from North America to Mallorca are not common. You will typically fly into a major European city, Madrid, Barcelona, London, Amsterdam or Frankfurt depending on the airlines you choose.

Flight

Europe

For guests arriving from: - Sweden : Ryanair, SAS & Norwegian Air Shuttle fly direct to Palma from Gothenburg and Copenhagen. - Austria : Direct flights from Vienna to Palma are available with Austrian Airlines and Eurowings. - Germany : Lufthansa never disappoints. - UK : British Airways, EasyJet, Ryanair and Jet2 offer direct flights from various cities in the UK to Palma.

Flight

Asia & Australia

For Shash's old roommates arriving from Thailand & Australia, it's going to be a knackering flight, mate! We suggest flying into a larger European city for a day or two to adjust to the time zone before continuing on to Palma.

Travel Note

Where to stay

Natalie and Shash will be on the island from the 16th to the 22nd of September. They will be staying at Ca's Garriguer in Valldemossa with Shash's family, while Natalie's family will be staying at Ca n'Alexandre in Palma. Palma is the largest city on the island, and we suggest staying in Palma or its vicinity. The distance between Palma center and the airport is approximately 20 minutes, and the distance from Palma center to Finca Son Termes is also about the same. While Mallorca's most charming villages and beaches aren't immediately adjacent to Palma, it's worth noting that no point on the island is more than an hour's drive from the city. Mallorca offers a variety of accommodation options, catering to different preferences and budgets. Here are some popular areas to consider for accommodation: - Palma de Mallorca: The capital city has a wide range of hotels, boutique guesthouses, and luxury resorts. It's a great choice for those seeking vibrant city life, historic attractions, and convenient access to shopping and dining. - Port de Sóller: Located on the northwest coast, this area offers picturesque views, a relaxed atmosphere, and easy access to the beach. It's an excellent spot for a quieter stay with beautiful landscapes. - Valldemossa or Deià: These scenic villages in the Tramuntana mountains appeal to those seeking tranquility, stunning views, and a more secluded experience. Both villages are famous for their artistic community and beautiful landscapes. - Portocolom: Positioned on the southeast coast, Portocolom offers numerous small coves, crystal-clear waters, and a laid-back ambiance, perfect for beach lovers and families. Its one of our favorite spots on the island, however, it's important to note that Portocolom is an hour away from Finca Son Termes.

House Or Rental

Hotels & Airbnb

You have numerous options for your stay in Mallorca, from hotels and luxury resorts to villas. We would suggest finding a hotel for your stay close to the beaches west of Palma. Considering you won't be spending much time at the hotel, our advice is to find an affordable place to stay and save your euros for enjoyable activities. Another great option could be renting a villa through Airbnb with other wedding guests. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions about accommodation.

Rental Car

Europcar, Avis, Goldcar & Enterprise

If you're coming for a few days or a week, we recommend renting a car. Mallorca is a big island with plenty to explore, and having a car will make it easier for you to get around. Please watch out for the cyclists on the roads and never drink and drive! Major car rental companies have offices at Palma Airport. We had a positive experience renting from Gold Car, the last time we were on the island.
