We recommend comfortable shoes. We will be hiking to get to our wedding location.

What should I bring?

Answer

A lot of water. It’s Arizona and will likely be hot. Luckily, the wedding is in the afternoon and should have cooled off by then.

Will there be a reception?

Answer

We may go out to dinner after the wedding. We are ordering a small succulent cake. We will try to plan a reception next year if our budget allows.

Why are you planning an intimate ceremony/elopement?

Answer

It’s going to be a small ceremony because that feels true to us and what we can afford. Having families that live in separate states makes it hard to coordinate a wedding. Plus, this allows us to have a wedding and honeymoon all in one. We hope to be able to celebrate with everyone on both sides of the family in the future.
