FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We'll need final numbers for caterers around a month before the wedding, so please RVSP by end of May 2025!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are so thrilled to have you join us in celebrating our special day, and your presence alone is more than enough. However, if you would like to give a gift, we’ve been fortunate to build a home together and already have everything we need. Instead, we would deeply appreciate a contribution to our honeymoon fund, helping us create unforgettable memories as we begin this next chapter of our lives.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 12pm, so please aim to arrive from 11.30am, and please do not arrive any later than 11.45am!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please think garden party attire! We appreciate bright colours and summery clothing. Remember, the reception will be in tipis set within a field, so don't forget to bring appropriate footwear to change into in case of bad weather!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our nearest and dearest! If your invitation includes a +1, their name will be listed. If not, we kindly ask you to join us solo so we can keep our celebration intimate. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We have chosen to make our wedding an adults-only celebration so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We hope you can use this as an opportunity for a special night out, and we truly appreciate your understanding.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! We have a section in the RSVPs for dietary requests or allergies. However, if anything changes following RSVP, please let one of us know before May 2025.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We’ve included a selection of hotel recommendations thoughtfully compiled by the father of the groom in the "travel" section of this website. If you’re staying for a bit, we highly recommend visiting or staying in Holmfirth—a charming town known for being the filming location of Last of the Summer Wine! It’s a wonderful spot to explore while you’re in the area.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

While there is on-street parking available near both the church and reception venue, spaces are limited. We recommend arriving early to secure a spot or, if possible, taking a taxi. To make things easier, we’ll share contact details for local taxi services on the "travel" page closer to the big day.

Question

How Do We Get from the Church to the Reception?

Answer

The church is just a 5-minute walk from the reception venue, and we plan to have a procession between the two. We would love for everyone to join us for this special moment, and it could also make for some wonderful photo opportunities!
