Things To Do
There's lots of hiking, swimming and restaurants in the area!
In the Middlebury/Ripton area, we'd recommend Mt. Abe for a more moderate to difficult hike, the Silver Lake trail for an easier hike with a waterfall and lake, Snake Mountain hike for a great view, and the Robert Frost Interpretive Trail for an accessible walk through nature. The Middlebury Gorge is a great local swim spot, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops in downtown Middlebury.
In the Mad River Valley, we'd recommend Blueberry Lake or the Covered Bridge in downtown Waitsfield for swimming.
