Question

Can I bring my kids to the wedding?

Answer

We love all of your children and are so thankful that you want them to share in the celebration with us. Due to limited capacity of our venue, we kindly request that only the children formally listed on the RSVP join us for the day. Your understanding allows us to accommodate all of our guests comfortably. Your presence is a gift, and we do understand arranging childcare can be challenging. If you have concerns please reach out to Natalie prior to the RSVP date.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are so happy and thankful you want to celebrate this day with us, and share it with someone special to you. However, due to the limited capacity of the venue, we request that only the individuals listed on the RSVP attend. Your understanding allows us to accommodate all our guests comfortably. If you have concerns, please reach out to Natalie prior to the RSVP date.

Question

When is the wedding? What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:00 pm. We are requesting that all guests arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for parking and seating.

Question

What do I wear?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding and reception is semi-formal. White, of course, is off limits :)

Question

Where do I stay?

Answer

We have a block of rooms reserved at The Lodge at Montgomery Bell, the state park's onsite hotel. The link to reserve your room can be found under the travel tab on this website. The park also offers onsite campground, if the great outdoors is your cup of tea.

Question

How should I get there?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be located at Montgomery Bell State Park - Lake Acorn Pavilion. Address: 1000 Beach Rd, Burns, TN, 37029 If your GPS is having difficulty finding this address, you may also route to the park entrance located at 1020 Jackson Hill Rd. However, please allot an additional 10 minutes on your predicted travel time to reach the pavilion. Once you reach the entrance to Montgomery Bell State Park from Hwy 70, follow Jackson Hill Road until you reach a park sign that reads "<--SWIM - BEACH - PICNIC" then turn left onto Hotel Ave (you will have passed the visitors center). Continue down hotel ave, past the golf course, about 1.6 miles until you reach a split. Follow the sign to the right that reads "SWIM - PICNIC - BOATING," and continue for half a mile, until you reach a large parking lot. The trail entrance down to Lake Acorn Pavilion is at the end of the parking lot. There is drivable access to drop off guests with mobility issues, then the car will need to be returned to the parking lot. If you reach The Lodge, you went the wrong direction at the split.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Good news, you are almost in the right place! You can RSVP electronically on this site by clicking the RSVP tab and searching for your name. If you have issues finding your name or completing the RSVP, please reach out.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We are requesting all guests RSVP by August 25th in order to allow plenty of time to notify our vendors of a final guest count.

Question

Will food be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes, we will be serving a buffet style dinner following the ceremony. If you have a dietary restriction, please let us know ASAP.

Question

Will you be serving alcohol?

Answer

We will not be serving alcohol at the reception, but will have other non-alcoholic beverages for you to enjoy. Thank you for your understanding, However, there are many cool places nearby if you would like to continue celebrating after the reception -- Nashville is only about 30 minutes away!

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

You can access our full registry, including some items from stores without their own registries, via this website by clicking the registry tab. You can also find registries directly at Amazon, Target, and Crate and Barrel.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are requesting that you refrain from photographing or any other cell phone usage in the ceremony itself. We have professional photographers for the day, and we want to avoid inhibiting their work. Additionally, we would like you to remain present in the moment with us as we make our vows to one another. However, please take as many pictures and videos at the reception as you like - we would love to have you share them with us!
