While we adore your little ones, we have chosen to make our wedding a celebration for guests ages 12 and older. We hope this gives parents the opportunity to enjoy a night off and celebrate with us!

Our dress code for the evening is semi-formal. Semi-formal means polished but not overly fancy — think refined and comfortable. For women, long or midi-length dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or skirts with elegant tops are perfect for the season. For men, dress pants with a button-down shirt, blazer, or suit work great (ties optional). IMPORTANT! To help us create a beautifully cohesive atmosphere and a timeless group photo, we kindly ask guests to wear attire in soft, muted tones such as: - Light or medium grey - Navy blue - Sage green - Soft lavender or lilac - Dusty rose, mauve, or blush - Elegant taupe, mushroom, kahki, or stone Please avoid wearing any shades of white or off-white, black, deep shades of green, gold, light blue, or champagne, which are reserved for our wedding party and immediate family.

Black Forest by Wedgewood Weddings 12375 Black Forest Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80908 Both the ceremony and reception will take place at the same location. you'll be guided from one space to the next - no extra travel needed!

Arrival Time

Please plan to arrive around 3:10 PM, which is 20 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time to park, use the restroom, sign our guest book, get your welcome packet, and find your seat. We'd love to start on time and celebrate together without any rush!

What happens if I arrive late to the ceremony?
Answer
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 PM, and because it is being filmed, we kindly ask that all guests are seated by this time. To avoid interruptions, doors will close at 3:35 PM and late entry will not be permitted. If you do happen to arrive after this time, don’t worry—you will still be able to watch the ceremony live from a comfortable indoor space with floor-length windows overlooking the ceremony. We truly appreciate your understanding as we work to keep this moment intimate and uninterrupted.

can i take photos and videos during the ceremony?

No, thank you. We are having an unplugged ceremony, so we kindly and firmly ask that you keep phones and cameras turned off and tucked away. We would love for you to be in the moment with us. Our amazing photographer and videographer team will not only be capturing great photos and highlights, but the entire ceremony will also be filmed and we will be sharing it with you. Please note that we will have a designated family member remind you to put your phone away if needed :)

What will the weather be like? Is the ceremony outdoors?
Answer
Colorado weather loves to keep things interesting - even in the same day! While we're hoping for beautiful conditions, things can change quickly. We have a backup indoor ceremony plan in case of snow, rain, or wind, so no need to worry. That said, we do recommend bringing layers like a stylish jacket, coat, and scarf for our preferred outdoor ceremony and outdoor mingling. Think chic and cozy!

Yes! There is a large lot on the property in close proximity to the entrance.

will there be dinner?

Absolutely! We will have a delicious assortment of appetizers, a full gourmet dinner buffet, dessert, and late night snacks! Please come hungry!

Will there be a bar?
Answer
Yes, we will be having a cash bar. If you are interested in alcoholic beverages, please come prepared with either phone tap or card. Wedgewood venues do not take cash!! Soft drinks, coffee, and water will be free and available all evening with the addition of a hot cocoa bar during cocktail hour.

What if i have a dietary restriction?

Please let us know in your RSVP if you have allergies or restrictions. Dinner will be a self-serve buffet with a variety of options, but it is still helpful to let our chef know so we can be sure we have something delicious for you.

Absolutely! Wear your dancing shoes - we can't wait to celebrate the night away with you!
