To start from the beginning, I moved into an apartment complex called The Odin, located in Northeast Minneapolis, in 2023. Our first interaction took place in the building's communal office workspace. I was busy typing away in my Excel spreadsheets, wrapping up the workday, when I heard a voice ask, "Excuse me, is this room available?" I turned around, glanced at the pitch-black room with no one sitting in it, and looked up at the handsome man standing in front of me. I responded, "Yeah, looks like it," to which he replied, "OK thanks!" Spoiler alert: that man was Peter, and come to find out he lived at The Odin as well.   *a few weeks later* Peter and I officially met on the patio at Cuzzy's Bar & Grill in downtown Minneapolis on a warm Saturday night. I was standing outside chatting with friends when Peter spotted me, got up from his table, and approached me in hopes of sparking up a conversation. "You're the girl from The Odin!" he said with a big grin. After exchanging a few kind words that evening, it was apparent we had an instant connection. Peter secured my phone number and the following week we went on our very first date: mini golfing at Puttery. We were honestly inseparable from that date on. From our first trip together to Jamaica, to weekends at the cabin on Mille Lacs, to attending countless Vikings and Timberwolves games, as well as a handful of country concerts, we became not only significant others but best friends. In March 2025, during our trip to Cabo, Peter led me down to the beach to watch the sunset. As the sky began to blaze with gold, he guided me to the water’s edge, knelt on one knee, and asked me to marry him—a moment I will cherish forever. There is so much more to our love story, and we can't wait to see what the future holds as husband and wife!
