Golf

When you step up to the tee on one of Casa de Campo Resort and Villas’ three legendary golf courses, you’ll be tested both in skill and mettle. Designed by the legendary, and World Golf Hall of Fame member, Pete Dye; Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore and The Links have been meticulously carved from the coral shores, craggy mountains, and rolling hills of the Dominican Republic landscape, and offer a one-of-a-kind golf experience. Only at Casa de Campo can you play a different course each day at the same resort, with three completely different experiences.
Minitas Beach - Private Resort Beach
Minutes from the Hotel Lobby via Golf Cart. Ask for Domingo or Juan to be your Beach Attendants, they will be taking care of the Mathews/Aycock wedding party exculsively. This is where you will find us pretty much all of the time :) One of the best things about a Caribbean vacation is getting to spend plenty of time on the beach. At Casa de Campo, our private Minitas Beach is conveniently located right in the middle of it all, so you never have to go far for a little sun and sand. There’s also plenty to do here, from a variety of watersports like snorkeling, paddleboating, and kayaking—to name a few—to indulging in a relaxing massage in our open-air pavilion.
Altos de Chavón
Accesible by Golf Cart or Shuttle from the Hotel Lobby, via Golf Cart it is about a 25 min ride. There are a few restaurants and shops here for you to enjoy and explore. One of our favorite restaurants, Marietta, is located here. This will also be where we have the Ceremony. Altos de Chavón is a place like no other—a replica 16th century Mediterranean village in the heart of the Dominican countryside. Meticulously designed by Dominican architect, Jose Antonio Caro, and Italian master designer and cinematographer, Roberto Coppa, every detail of Altos de Chavón was handcrafted by local artisans.
Casa de Campo Marina
Accesible via Golf Cart. This is the place to go for multiple restaurants, a movie theatre, grocery store, pharmacy, and shops. Via Golf Cart it is about a 15 min ride. The heart of Casa de Campo Resort and Villas’ ocean playground is the Marina—the vision of Gianfranco Fini and Piero Giacosa. Inspired by the quaint seaside villages that dot the Mediterranean coastline, the Marina is more than just a place to moor, it’s an entire community for sport fishermen, yachting enthusiasts, and landlubbers alike.
Restaurants
There are many many restaurants on property at Casa de Campo. One of our favorites is located in Minitas Beach, called The Beach Club. Another one of our favorites is La Caña, located in the Hotel Lobby. If you have a craving for sushi, no worries! There is a sushi restaurant located on property as well called Pub Belly located in the Marina.
Spa
The Spa at Casa de Campo Resort and Villas is the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate both your body and mind. We use Ayurvedic techniques and local organic ingredients to detoxify, regenerate, and renew. Cueva de las Maravillas Cave Exploration
Las Maravillas Cave is the first natural museum of Rupestrian artwork in the West Indies. Our tour begins with a scenic walk though La Romana on the way to the 100,000-year-old cave. You will have a chance to learn about the cave’s extraordinary geological formations and the history of the pictographs left by the Taíno Indians who lived here long before the arrival of Christopher Columbus. Please wear comfortable sport clothing and walking shoes. Tour schedule: Thursday & Sunday 8:45 a.m.–12:00 p.m. (Reservations required)
Catalina Island Beach Day
Experience and explore six-square miles of white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. On the Catamaran ride over, relax on spacious sundecks and shaded lounges or dance to a merengue beat! Zip Line Tour
Fly through the air on this exciting adventure! Get you heart pumping and enjoy spectacular views of the abundant flora of the Eastern Region of the Dominican Republic. Dune Buggy Tour
Take the wheel and race through the Dominican countryside in your own buggie. This safe and incredibly fun experience is perfect for those aged five and up. You’ll also visit an ancient cave and enjoy a refreshing dip at the beach. Wear comfortable sport clothing.
