The University of Iowa and Iowa City in general is known as the "City of the Arts". Michael and I went here early on in our relationship and it is still one of our favorite days! This museum is free to the public and hosts the painting "Mural" by Jackson Pollock which has traveled the world!
One of the best Iowa City hangouts and hand's down has the best patio!
Be sure to explore the heart of Iowa City where you'll find a great number of shops, restaurants, bars, museums, etc. Lots to do as you walk around the ped mall and campus as well. Our favorites include Basta, Pullman Bar & Diner, Brix Wine and Cheese Shop, Java House and Iowa Book (have to get some Hawkeye gear)!
