It started in 2012 on the Ohio State Undergraduate Student Government campaign trail. After hanging out during a few late night campaign meetings and early morning booth set ups, Mike invited Natalie on a typical first date, an entire weekend in Gatlinburg, TN, for his fraternity date party. A fourteen hour round trip together on a bus could have been a recipe for disaster, but thankfully we found out we were pretty compatible. Natalie liked that Mike was able to make her laugh, and Mike liked that a pretty girl thought he was funny. We continued to hang out through summer and fall, and by November we realized we were spending too much time together to not start dating officially. A lot has happened since the first days of our relationship. There have been college graduations, long distance dating, a law school graduation and multiple new jobs, as well as countless Ohio State football games, Game of Thrones episodes and trips to Jeni's. Over that time we have learned a lot about each other, supported one another and have grown in our relationship. We recently decided to begin a new stage of our life together and got engaged in Cleveland, OH. We are overjoyed to have had the support of our family and friends throughout the course of our relationship and are excited to return to Columbus and celebrate our wedding with all of you on the date of our seventh anniversary.
