Recommendations

The Lakes Region is a popular destination during the summer. If you plan to stay in the area in advance or on the night of the wedding, it is recommended that you book your lodging early. A number of locations require a two-night minimum stay, but options will become more limited as the wedding date approaches. It is not too early to make a reservation. We hope you will be able to share this special day with us!

Mill Falls at the Lake

Located in Meredith Center across from Lake Winnipesaukee, about 25 minutes away from Castle in the Clouds. We will be providing transportation to and from the venue from this hotel. The bridal party and many family members are staying at the Mill Falls properties in Meredith Center. All rooms that were in the block have been booked at this point The rooms are located at the Palmer Inn, the Chase, and Baypoint, all of which are Mill Falls properties, located within walking distance of each other. There is a required 2-night stay minimum. If you would like to stay at one of these properties, visit https://www.millfalls.com Please let us know if you have booked outside of the block at this property, so that we can account for you for transportation. Check in is located at the Church Landing property, for stays at any of the hotels. Please go there prior to heading to your stay (Chase house, the Palmer Inn, or Baypoint), where you will be given information about the transportation as well. Early check in is frequently offered, and you may call ahead to see if your room is available before 4pm. We are arranging for group transportation to the wedding venue to depart from Mill Falls and return after the reception. Mill Falls only allows guests staying at their properties to park in their lots. If you stay at any of the four locations of Mill Falls, you have access to all buildings and amenities. We love to use the Church Landing properties lakefront adirondack chairs and pool.

It is also recommended to book as soon as possible, as close by options are limited. The Inn on Main

Located in Wolfeboro, which is 28 minutes from the venue. If you book online, it will be a 2 night minimum, but if you call the Inn, they will allow a one night stay.

Other Inns and Hotels

There are other quaint places to stay in the area that are close to Castle in the Clouds, including Center Harbor Inn, Summit Resort, Ballard House Inn, Sutton House Bed and Breakfast, The Nutmeg Inn, Wolfeboro Inn, the Inn on Main in Wolfeboro, Lake Opechee Inn & Spa in Laconia. These locations also require a two-night minimum with the exception of the Inn on Main (if you call and not book online) and also possibly Lake Opechee Inn & Spa, if the property is not fully booked. The Quality Inn in Ashland is located approximately 23 miles from the wedding venue and allows a one-night stay. The hotel is located off Route 93. Towneplace Suites by Marriott in Gilford, as well as Fireside Inn & Suites Gilford, are about 40 minutes from the venue. They allow 1 night stays. Econo Lodge Lakes Region in West Ossipee allow 1 night stays, and is 25 minutes from the venue.
