WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

From Natalie's point of view... January 4th, 2013. We happened to be at the same restaurant in Cincinnati, OH. I was with a group of my girlfriends, and Mathieu was with a group of his guy friends. I introduced myself and we were inseparable the rest of the night! I quickly learned about how hectic the hockey season was. It took a few months and a few dates in between before we started seeing each other more often. Our first date was at a Hibachi restaurant, Mathieu's favorite. Fast forward 10-months to November 2013 - Mathieu was traded from Cincinnati, Ohio to Salt Lake City, Utah. We did long (very long) distance before I decided to make the move and join the love of my life. I found a great job that a few years later took me to Dallas, TX. After a season of long (very long) distance again Mathieu was able to get on the team in Allen, TX and join me in Texas. 5-years, 3-states, 3-teams, and a puppy later - We're getting married! ---- Le 4 janvier 2013. Je me suis présenté et nous étions inséparables le reste de la soiree! J'ai vite appris à propos de la complexité d'une saison de hockey . Notre premier rendez-vous était à un Hibachi restaurant, le restaurant prefere a Mathieu. 10 mois plus tard - Mathieu a été échangé de Cincinnati, en Ohio, à Salt Lake City, Utah. Nous avons vecu 10 mois a longue distance jusqu'au mois de Mars 2014, avant de me décider à faire le pas et de rejoindre l'amour de ma vie. J'ai trouvé un un bon travail et trois ans plus tard, m'amene à Dallas, TX. Après une saison longue (très longue) a distance de nouveau, Mathieu a été en mesure d'obtenir a place dans l'équipe d'Allen, TX et me rejoindre au Texas. À 5 ans, 3 etats , de 3 équipes, et un chiot plus tard - nous allons Nous marier!

It was the Friday before hockey training camp was starting. We were having dinner at an incredible new Italian restaurant. After a very filling meal Mathieu suggested we take a look at the dessert menu. Personally, I was way to full for that! He insisted, little did I know, buying himself some time. He got down on one knee next to the table and told me he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me! Ton's of dessert and champagne followed and it's safe to say we were both on cloud 9.
