We met at work in November of 2013. We found ourselves in the same friend group with some colleagues at work and enjoyed many happy hours together as friends. When I discovered in September of 2014 that Natalie had found a new job and she had given her notice, I arranged a 'friend-date' with her at Will Rogers state park on a Saturday. We rode horses and had a picnic lunch and shared great conversation and laughs and we didn't want it to end - and so, lunch turned into dinner, turned into after dinner drinks. We now joke that it was the 'never-ending date'. On her last day of work we shared our first kiss and have had many adventures since and many yet to still come. - Mark
It was a perfect summer day in Los Angeles in August of 2021. Mark had arranged a driver to pick us up and he was tight-lipped about the plan for that day. We ended up on a tarmac, boarding a helicopter! As we floated up to the sky I could see the city with all its landmarks, and the happy memories we had forged in it. We descended onto a hill in the Malibu mountains overlooking the ocean and landed there. Mark poured me a glass of champagne and we enjoyed the moment, then he got down on one knee and proposed. I said yes, of course, and we took some pictures, and returned to the helicopter to finish our tour of the city. After the tour we had an incredible dinner at Providence and came home. That whole day was like a fairy tale. - Natalie
In the almost eight years since we started dating we've shared so many adventures together. We have had so many conversations and laughs, shared many new experiences and travels and took our relationship to a new level when we bought our home a couple of years ago. We're ready to go wherever life takes us, together, and we're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
