So the ceremony and after party are on seperate days?

Answer

Yes! We will be having a small intimate ceremony with our immediate family on Saturday, May 17th and a Lake After Party with all our friends and other family on May 18th. We would love to celebrate with everybody all at once, but for the sake of ease and being budget conscious, we have decided to split the fun!

Please RSVP by April 1st, so we can have an accurate headcount for our caterers.

Where is the venue?

Our venue is a private Airbnb with direct access to Lake Rollins near Grass Valley, CA. It is the perfect place to spend our wedding weekend with you all while enjoying beautiful views!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We understand that some of you may have little ones, but in order to keep the celebration adult-focused, we kindly ask for an adult-only after party.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Ceremony: Women in sundresses and men in polos. Please try to wear red, blue, or yellow hues. The ground is natural (dirt and rock paths) so wedges or flat sandals are appropriate footwear. The ceremony and dinner will be outdoors during the evening, so it may get chilly. Bring some layers! After Party: Swimsuits, flip flops, man flops, floaties, sweats, hoodies, whatever you would like to ensure maximum enjoyment and comfortability! It may get chilly later in the day so bring comfy layers! As we celebrate our special weekend outdoors, we want to let you know that there may be a few curious insects around. While we've taken measures to ensure your comfort, we recommend wearing bug repellent if you're sensitive to them. Feel free to bring along any necessary precautions for a more enjoyable experience!

Both our ceremony and after party will be catered with casual yummy food so there will be plenty to snack on. To help us accommodate all dietary needs, please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies.

What's the bar situation?

Answer

Please feel free to play bartender for the day and make your own drinks! Because we are going the DIY route, there will not be an official bar or bartender, but there will be plenty of beer and hard alcohol to enjoy!
