It's happening!

We met in the seventh grade at Lincoln Middle School in Berwyn, Illinois. We were just kids back then, we didn't know anything about love. I was however, infatuated with Luigi, he was shy and quiet. We dated briefly; however, I always had the biggest crush on him. As life went on Luigi and I had families of our own, but when the chance presented itself to us as single adults we reconnected and have been together ever since. From the very first day we spent together I felt comfortable with him and knew I had my friend back. Together we have a son who started our chapter as a family. Luigi and I waited year after year for the right time to get married. The right time never seemed to be available, life was always happening to us. So, over the years we have learned that you have to make the present time the right time. Live each day in the present and live with love, hope and joy. Now is our right time.

Luigi and I had originally planned to be married already. As everyone knows this Pandemic of 2020 has turned all our lives upside down. Luigi, our son and I all contracted covid-19 early on. Since then we had halted our wedding plans. I was devastated. Our son was sent to in home learning, I homeschooled for a year! Our son and I both loved that! We moved, our son went to a new school where he already had friends from his new Scout Troop. As all of our lives are trying to fall back into place with everything that is happening in this world, we couldn't be more excited to finally become one! Luigi and I have had quite the journey and we look forward to our journey to come! Thank you for being a part of our super special day!
