Five years ago, we met playing softball in sunny Los Angeles. LP was immediately attracted to Natalie. She thought he was loud and obnoxious. After weeks of talking we finally went on our first date where we smoked cigars, drank whiskey and watched ESPN. Our mutual love of food and baseball fueled our interest in each other. Even though wearing a Yankees hat to a Dodgers game was a capital offense to Natalie, we found ourselves spending more and more time together. Pretty soon we were together most days a week. LP moved back to NY and we spent a year on opposite coasts. After Natalie moved, our relationship was stronger than we could have imagined it. LP started planning his proposal. Labor day weekend 2016, we got engaged. On November 18, 2018 we got married in NY during a small ceremony and reception so that LP's grandpa could be front and center. We're so happy that for our one year anniversary, we get to have the California wedding we wanted and we can renew our vows with those important to us, who may have missed the first one.
