Our story is unconventional for most our age, yet for the modernized folks, it is considered normal. We met on an app; and we were drawn to each other because of our strong faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ. We both thought it was a shot in the dark, but what could be wrong about discussing our Lord and Savior over ice cream? Natalie decided to test Ken's boldness for the Lord on the first date. Ken mentioned that he could rap the Ten Commandments, so Natalie called his bluff. Ken's zeal for our Lord and for life stole Natalie's heart that day. Ken's heart was wrapped in Natalie's strong admiration for the Lord and her appreciation for his unique qualities that he possesses in his life. The adventures abounded and the encouragement in scripture and service increased with every conversation. These adventures included a top ten list for ice cream joints in the Houston area. Fittingly, at the ice cream parlor dubbed #1, Ken proposed, asking Natalie to be his #1 forever.
