It all began at a Young Adults Retreat through CrossBridge Community Church in San Antonio, Texas. At the time, Natalie had her eye on someone else, and Kale was just there to play wingman for that very same guy. Little did we know, God had a completely different plan, and it didn’t involve the other man at all. A month later, after that other relationship didn’t work out, something shifted. We started to notice each other in a new way. In the small kindnesses, the easy laughter, and the way conversations never seemed to end. On Natalie’s birthday that summer, Kale decided to change roles entirely: no more wingman, just a man who was ready to pursue her. From that day forward, things moved from friendship to love. Coffee dates turned into adventures, adventures into shared dreams, and shared dreams into the life we’re building together now. We’ve seen God’s hand in every step, in the timing, in the detours, and in the joy we’ve found in each other. Now, we can’t wait to start our next chapter as husband and wife.
