Question

What time should we arrive to the church?

Answer

The church doors will open at 11:00am. The Holy Mass/wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 12:00pm. Out of respect for the sacred liturgy, the doors will close once the ceremony begins and late entry will not be permitted. Guests arriving after this time may enter once the service has concluded. We kindly ask that you arrive in a timely manner. Las puertas de la iglesia abrirán a las 11:00am. La Misa y la ceremonia de boda comenzarán a las 12:00pm. Por respeto a la sagrada liturgia, las puertas se cerrarán una vez que inicie la ceremonia y no se permitirá la entrada tardía. Is there a dress code?

We kindly ask guests to wear church‑appropriate attire for the Holy Mass and formal attire for the reception. Pedimos amablemente a los invitados que vistan ropa apropiada para la iglesia durante la Misa y atuendo formal para la recepción.

Can we take photos or videos during the Holy Mass ceremony?

Answer

Most Catholic churches request no flash or photography during Mass. We ask guests to honor this so the focus remains on the sacrament. La mayoría de las iglesias católicas solicitan no usar flash ni tomar fotografías durante la Misa. Pedimos a los invitados que respeten esta norma para que la atención permanezca en el sacramento.

Is the Holy Mass/Wedding Ceremony taking place at the same location as the reception?

Answer

The Holy Mass and Wedding Ceremony will take place at the church, while the reception will be held at a separate venue. Guests will need to travel between locations. There will be a three‑hour gap between the end of the Wedding Ceremony and the start of the reception. This allows time for the bride and groom to take photos. Guests are welcome to enjoy the many attractions, cafés, and shops in Downtown Riverside during this break. La Misa y la ceremonia de boda se llevarán a cabo en la iglesia, mientras que la recepción tendrá lugar en un salón distinto. Los invitados deberán trasladarse entre ambos lugares. Habrá un intervalo de tres horas entre el final de la Santa Misa y la ceremonia y el inicio de la recepción, lo cual permitirá que los novios se tomen fotografías. Who’s invited to the wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that only the guests listed on the invitation attend the wedding, as space is limited and all seating has been carefully allocated.
