House Or Rental
As much as we love our beautiful venue, we think there are better areas to book your stay if you're trying to explore the city while you're here! Neighborhoods we recommend looking into: Inner Sunset, NOPA, Upper or Lower Haight, Inner Richmond, Mission and Castro*. Click the link to see our Airbnb "Wedding Weekend" suggestions. If you are going the Airbnb route and have questions about the neighborhood, feel free to reach out! Every neighborhood has its own charms :) *A note about the Castro: our wedding is the same weekend as Pride! Which means there will be a LOT of activity in the Castro as well as the Mission and down Market St. to Civic Center. This can make getting around tricky (and booking accommodations in this area even trickier if you wait until the last minute). If streets blocked off for Pride revelers sounds like your jam, it's a great way to experience San Francisco, but be sure to book ASAP!
Hotel
This hotel is located in Cole Valley, between Upper Haight and Inner Sunset. It's an easy walk to Golden Gate Park and around the corner from some excellent cafes and restaurant options. It sits along the N Judah line, which will take you to the Castro or downtown in a matter of minutes (heading east) or out to the Sunset and Ocean Beach (heading west!).
Hotel
This option is great for families: a block away from the San Francisco Zoo and Ocean Beach, and a 20 min walk to Noriega corridor, where the famous Devil's Teeth Bakery awaits. Other great spots to grab lunch or dinner include the family-friendly Pizza Place on Noriega and the new UnderdogsToo on Taraval, which has incredible tacos! This hotel is also very close to the wedding venue. Bonus: there's a hot tub!
