FAQs

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We’re excited to celebrate with you at our beautiful venue! The dress code is comfortable cocktail attire—feel free to dress stylishly but comfortably for the occasion. Since the Hacienda has many steps and is set in the beautiful Puerto Rican climate, we recommend avoiding very high heels to ensure your comfort throughout the evening. Additionally, please keep in mind that Puerto Rico can get quite warm, so dress in breathable fabrics and keep the heat in mind when choosing your attire. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation includes a plus one, we would love for you to bring a guest! If you received an invitation for just yourself, we kindly ask that you attend solo. Please let us know if you have any questions!

Question

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

While we love children, we have decided to make our wedding a mostly adult-only event as the Hacienda is not safe for children. We hope you understand, and we appreciate your support in making our day special for all the guests.

Question

Where should we stay in Puerto Rico?

Answer

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott in Isla Verde, Puerto Rico for our guests from Friday to Monday! You will need to call in Reservations Department at 787-999-6500 from Monday to Friday (10:00am-6:30pm) and Saturday and Sunday from (10:00am-5:00pm) to reserve the room!

Question

Attire for the Welcome Party

Answer

Cocktail Casual! A step up from business casual, a step down from formal. Men might wear slacks with a button-down or sport coat; women might choose a sun dress, midi dress, or something chic. Dressy shoes preferred—no jeans, sneakers, or flip-flops.
