Santorini is a relatively small island, spanning approximately 15 kilometers in circumference. This compact size ensures that wherever you choose to stay, you will not be far from the wedding venue or any key attractions. Transportation on the island is convenient, with options including taxis, hotel-arranged transfers, or vehicle rentals such as cars, mopeds, 4-wheelers, or razors. For the most stunning views, consider booking accommodations with a Caldera view, which offers unparalleled vistas of the ocean and cliffs. The island's two largest towns, Fira (the capital) and Oia, are particularly renowned for their spectacular sunsets. These towns are only about six kilometers apart, emphasizing the island's manageable scale. An alternative to Fira and Oia is Pyrgos, a less frequented yet equally charming town. Located approximately three kilometers from Fira and closer to the airport, Pyrgos boasts beautiful views and memorable sunsets but at a slightly lower price point. Generally, accommodations in Oia are the most expensive, followed by Fira, and then Pyrgos. Beyond these towns, as you move closer to the water and farther from the cliffs, prices tend to decrease. Regardless of where you stay, Santorini's breathtaking scenery ensures a memorable experience.

Where to Stay Kamari For those who love being close to the beach, Kamari is an ideal choice. This village is located right by the beach and offers a wide variety of hotels, restaurants, bars, and shops. Kamari caters to all budgets, and the entire village can be explored on foot. A local bus can take you to Fira (the capital) in just 15 minutes. Keep in mind that there is no parking at most hotels here, and you will need to walk through cobblestone streets to reach your accommodation. You have a breathtaking view, but there is no beach to go swimming.(Only via car around 20 - 30 minutes.
