Macomb is well-known for being the birthplace of the Monopoly game inventor, Elizabeth "Liz" Magie Phillips (1866-1948). She used the layout of the historic downtown square for her board game. Our wedding venue is located in the square and we highly recommend exploring it and even trying to play "Macombopoly" LIVE by scanning the QR codes on the ground tiles.
