What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

ARRIVAL TIME Please arrive by 5:00 PM to be seated and ready. There is only one entrance, and late arrivals will cause disruption to the ceremony. If you arrive after the start time, you will not be admitted until there is an appropriate break in the schedule.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

This is a strictly invite-only event with limited capacity 1. Only guests who have been specifically invited with a plus-one may bring a date. Anyone not named on the invitation will not be accommodated. Kindly note this will be an adults-only event. Thank you for respecting this.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress Code: “Represent Your Tribe” We invite all our guests to represent their tribe with pride by wearing traditional or cultural attire that reflects their heritage. While many of our guests will be celebrating in Cameroonian traditional outfits, we are excited to welcome friends from diverse backgrounds—including Asian, Caucasian, and other cultures—and encourage everyone to showcase their own unique traditions through what they wear. Whether it’s a Bakweri Kaba, Eton, Bayangi attire, Tassav, Ndop, Bamiléké, Fulani, Bassa, Beti, or any cultural attire from your heritage, we can’t wait to see the richness, color, and diversity you bring to the celebration. Feel free to get creative and express yourself in a way that honors your roots. If you have any questions or would like guidance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the couple.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is ample free parking onsite at Grand Occasions, so you won’t have to worry about finding a spot when you arrive!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We’ve put together a list of nearby hotels for your convenience, ranging from budget-friendly to more luxurious options. All are within a short distance of Grand Occasions, making it easy to join us for the celebration! Please refer to the Travel & Hotel page via “Menu”. We recommend booking early to secure your stay!

What if I can no longer attend?

Answer

We understand that plans can change. If you are no longer able to attend, please update your RSVP as soon as possible via the website. To do this, open the menu (top right corner), select the “Save the Date” page, and enter your first and last name. Once your details appear, select your name and update your response to “Will Not Attend.” Be sure to submit your response to confirm the change. We kindly ask that you inform us promptly, as final arrangements are being made based on confirmed guest numbers.
