We knew of each other as he was friends with my older sister in high school. Fast forward 6 years he wrote me, out of the blue on Facebook and asked if I was Nicole's little sister. In 2010 He asked me on a date and we dated for 4 months then he had to move from Nebraska to New York to take over his fathers home in Brooklyn. He asked me to move and I told him he was nuts and we barely knew each other. We decided to go our separate ways and in 2012 I heard about Hurricane Sandy and reached out to make sure he was ok. His house infact flooded and had to be rebuilt. He was going to a wedding of his best friend in Nebraska and asked if I would be his date. I said sure, I'm single I can go as friends. Well that actually was not his intentions. He had a plan to get me to be his girlfriend. We maintained a long-distance relationship until 2016 when I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Long story short the operation did not go as planned and I was put in a medically induced come for 10 months. He was by my side every chance he could get to fly to Nebraska. Nurses even taught him how to do my nails. When I woke I had to learn how to talk and walk again. He took 3 months from work to help me in my rehab center. We made a promise since I had a semester left in college and his house was still being rebuilt due to Hurricane I would move when his house was done. In 2018 I moved to New York. In 2019 We were engaged. In 2019 we were married. In 2020 we had our little girl Isabella and Now we are expecting our son in 2021. This is my fairy tale and happily ever after.
