Natalie and Jason met when her cousin and his friend got married. Natalie was the maid of honor and Jason was a groomsman. Two other people in the wedding party took it as their job for the day to bring Natalie and Jason together before the ceremony started. Throughout the rest of the night, both of them used the free time they had to talk and get to know each other. Throughout the summer after they met, Natalie and Jason took turns visiting each other in Charlotte and Raleigh for as many weekends as they could. Come August 6th 2023, they were officially together! For the next 10 months, they kept commuting back and forth between the two cities to spend as much time together as possible to make the distance work. By June of 2024, Natalie had moved to Raleigh so they could live together. At first they lived in Jason's apartment in Raleigh where Natalie had visited multiple times and although the space was tight, it wouldn't last long. On June 22nd, Jason and Natalie moved into their home in Apex, starting their new life together. After meticulously planning the day for two months prior, Jason proposed to Natalie on March 15th at Pope Farms surrounded by many cows — Natalie's favorite animal. To celebrate the engagement, they went to their favorite restaurant in Raleigh — Oak Steakhouse. On October 11th, Natalie and Jason got married at an intimate ceremony in Linville Falls with immediate family. On January 17th, the newly married couple is excited to share the day with you at their reception.
