Natalie's oldest sister by 11 years. She took 8 year old Natalie on a campus tour of the University of Iowa, including a DIY waffle bar at Burge Hall (Natalie's first memories of her alma mater). If Sarah was a dog, she'd be a St. Bernard to Natalie's yippy terrier. Sarah also designed and decorated the venue/flowers for the couple's special day.

Natalie's middle sister and paddle boarding extraordinaire! Allison can often be found curled up with a good book, cup of tea, and warm kitty on her lap. She also holds the recipe to the BEST cranberry sauce this side of the Mississippi.

Jake's brother-in-law, Rachel's better half, and master gardener. He's also our on-site ER physician in case Jake's wedding day jitters get the best of him.

Jake's older sister, confidant, and parenting advisor. Natalie likes to joke that growing up with Rachel prepared Jake to marry her as she's similarly strong willed, independent, and highly organized.

Jake's son and sweetest 5-year old EVER! Lucas loves everything Legos, Star Wars, and pancakes! Natalie still wonders how she got so lucky with the two of them.

Laurie is 50% responsible for our marriage and 100% Jedi fighter. Jake's mom, Dixie, is Laurie's partner-in-crime colluding in the back of a cab during a business trip. Best case scenario--Jake would make a new friend having recently moved back to Iowa City and Natalie would meet a decent (ok, great!) guy with an adorable kiddo. They had no idea at the time that they would play a crucial role in our happily ever after; we are forever grateful.
