We’re tying the knot!

We are successful Hinge love story! We met on the dating app in the midst of COVID in 2020 (because how else could you date) and decided give it a go. We decided to meet at Forgotten Star Brewery - now our go-to for date nights! Jake had been coming from hitting softballs, as he had a tournament that weekend, and told me he was running late. Since we had to wear masks, he told me to look for him - as he thought he might not be able to recognize me with a mask on. Well, I wasn't going to await his arrival looking desperately for him! So... naturally, he came waltzing in looking like a lost puppy, oops! Safe to say he wasn't too upset about looking utterly lost because we closed the brewery down, being the last to leave. To top it off, with no one around at closing time, I was excited because I might get a kiss out of it at end of the night. Welp, not the case! Jake will forever use the late excuse of "It was COVID!!!" - and I will never let him live that one down as an excuse for why he was so NERVOUS to kiss me. And the rest is history :)
