When Jack and I first met, it took me MAYBE a couple of weeks to know he was the one. Constant text messages, voice memos, and phone calls we exchanged. Being around Jack felt like this incredible feeling of safety and warmth that I didn't know I was missing for so long. He exhibits a kindness, gentleness, and care that is particularly rare to find. Our personalities meshed so well, from my spunky outspokenness to his carefully crafted prose, he is the ying to my yang. He would come down from South Dakota to visit me every other weekend, and we would watch movies through Discord and play videogames when he was away. Eventually, he moved down to Nebraska to be with me and pursue his dream job in cybersecurity. Now we are getting married, and I cannot wait to continue our lives together <3

My first impression of Natalie was something along the lines of ‘too good to be true.’ Beautiful beyond compare and endlessly charming, with a heart big enough to hold the whole world. From the moment we met, I was thoroughly captivated and ready to follow her light anywhere. And how lucky I was that I didn’t have to go far, that she was running to me in turn. As our lives became more and more intertwined, I quickly found that my initial assessment was flawed: that goodness is her truth, and it is so boundless and all-encompassing and perfect that it could never be adequately captured in words. But that will never stop me from trying even as I find more to love about her every single day. Marrying Natalie and living my life in her radiant presence and knowing her gentle compassion for all, sharp wit and intellect, infectious passion and energy, and so many other incredible qualities is a dream come true. I can’t wait for our wedding!
