Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts
Fun fact: Jack & Natalie both grew up dancing in the Nutcracker. Enjoy a performance by the American Ballet Theatre at the Metropolitan Opera House (where Natalie first worked when she moved to NYC!) New York's most unique park takes you through what were once elevated train tracks, offering great views of the city's historic architecture along the Hudson River.
The Morgan Library & Museum
For one of NYC's lesser-known museums, this bookish couple recommends the Morgan Library. Beautiful historic spaces, well-curated exhibitions, and free entry on Friday nights!
Brooklyn Botanic Garden
Just steps from the couple's apartment, this is a naturalist's heaven, and the rose garden will be in full bloom come June! The garden is right next to both Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Museum should you want the fun to continue.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art
One of the most visited museums in the world, and for good reason! The groom is partial to the American Wing, and the bride recommends checking out the Lehman Collection and the visible storage section.
Governors Island
The urban jungle isn't your style? We get it! Take a ferry over to Governors Island to find some shady meadows, along with great views of the Statue of Liberty and the southern tip of Manhattan. We recommend tootling around on a rental bike or lounging in the hammock grove.
