Greetings loved ones! We wanted to give you some specifics for our celebration plans. Please note that parking is not permitted on Christmas Lake Road or the family’s private drive (Christmas Lane). Instead, all guests should park at: Excelsior United Methodist Church 881 3rd Ave, Excelsior, MN 55331 We’ve arranged a 20-person shuttle bus to transport guests from the church to the home starting at 5:00 PM. There will be signage at the church indicating where to wait for the shuttle and where to gather with fellow party-goers. If you're planning to use Uber or Lyft, please set your destination to the church. If you'd prefer to walk, it's 0.8 miles (~18 min walk). The shuttle will be running throughout the evening for return trips to the church parking lot. When you arrive, refreshments will be available to enjoy as you make your way to the backyard for the first part of the evening, the ceremony.
6:00 pm - 6:30 pm
No dress code! Wear whatever makes you feel stylish and festive. To keep in mind when choosing your footwear, all parts of the evening will take place outside (on asphalt and grass, and there are stone steps leading down to the lake).
Just a heads up, the ceremony will begin at 6:00 PM. If you happen to arrive after the ceremony has started, make your way to the backyard and find a spot on the hill behind the house from which the ceremony can be viewed.
