Question

Any additional items I should pack?

Answer

Miscellaneous items we recommend bringing include the following: Sunscreen, bugspray, an extra beach towel, a day pack for hiking (if you plan to go), recreational gear such as fishing poles (yes there is a fishing pond on site!), kayaks/paddleboards if you're taking a trailer/camper van.

Question

What's the situation with alcohol?

Answer

Our venue provides all alcohol. We will have a full service, open bar. For those wishing to bring their own alcohol, please keep in mind our venue does not allow us to bring outside alcohol in...proceed with caution please! **Friendly reminder: we are at elevation! Alcohol may impact you slightly more here. We are also in a very dry climate so stay hydrated.

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

Our venue caters all the food. There will be salad options and seasoned vegetables available that should meet vegetarian and gluten free needs. If there are specific questions, please ask Greg or Natalie and we can inquire further.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

As our wedding is in July, we expect comfortable summer temperatures and dry conditions. Day temperatures typically average around 70 degrees, but nights can still be a bit chilly dropping to the 40s. An occasional summer storm may roll through, but they often pass quick. ***Water temperatures remain fairly cold here. While July and August are the warmest months of the year, keep in mind these lakes are fed by fresh snowmelt, and depending on the season, can be uncharacteristically cold. Average water temps remain around mid 60s.
