When is the wedding?

Answer

The wedding is on June 27, 2026 at 6pm in the evening. Guest can begin arriving around 5:30pm.

Where is the wedding?

Answer

The Lovely at Mulberry Creek in Merkel, Tx. It is about a 20 minute drive west of Abilene, Tx and about a 25 minute drive east of Sweetwater, Tx. Google maps or Apple maps should help you easily locate the venue. 901 N 1st St. Merkel, Tx 79536

Will the wedding be outside?

Answer

The wedding and reception will both take place indoors in air conditioned spaces. There is a small courtyard area that will be where the social hour takes place, but it should be mostly shaded.

What should I wear?

Answer

We are asking that you wear semi-formal attire or something you would wear to church. If you like dressing on theme, then think garden party!

Is it ok if I bring extra guest?

Answer

We wish we could invite everyone, but due to venue capacity we can only host the guests listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

We’ll be hosting an alcohol-free celebration, but will have plenty of delicious non-alcoholic drinks to enjoy!

What's on the menu?

Answer

During social hour, light charcuterie and snacks will be served. We will have our dirty soda bar open and water available. For dinner, we are serving a baked potato bar! You can choose your toppings and make it your own! The dirty soda bar, tea, and water will be available as well.

Will there be parking available?

Answer

Yes. The venue is in downtown Merkel, Tx. So all parking is street parking.

Will animals be allowed?

Answer

While we love pets, due to venue policies, animals will not be permitted at the wedding.
