We're Getting Married!

Our story began October 23rd, 2015, during our Junior year of high school at Southlake Carroll's annual Pink Out football game, #DRAGONPRIDE. At the time, Natalie was busy playing matchmaker, trying to set up one of her best friends with Erik. Despite her efforts & a post-game double date, it became clear that their match just wasn’t meant to be… and God had other plans in store! Exactly one week later, at a Halloween party, the matchmaking plans officially fell through – and something totally unexpected started. We got to talking, and before long, we realized there was a spark between us! Erik, determined to win Natalie over, began shooting his shot and decided to hand deliver a Whataburger HBCB & fries after curfew (SMH… sorry, parents!). And just like that, the story of “us” began. On February 1st, 2016, we became officially official and kicked off our journey as high school sweethearts! Our Senior year was filled with so many sweet & unforgettable moments that we’ll cherish forever. Then came college, and life took us in very different directions. Erik headed off to Texas A&M, and Natalie ventured to the University of Arkansas. Though we were 9 hours apart, we eventually decided to give the good ole long distance thing a try. Between the countless FaceTime calls, surprise visits, & longgg drives, each reunion felt like the happiest moment ever, and the only thing that could separate us was the distance. Fast forward to May 2021, we both graduated from college and moved back to Dallas to start the next chapter of our lives together. Then, on June 22nd, 2023, Erik got down on one knee and asked the question that changed everything. After more than nine years of love, laughter, & adventures, we couldn't be more excited to say "I do" in the state where our love story first began. We grew up together, supported each other through everything, and now, we can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together until we are old and gray.♡
