We met in 2021 on Facebook dating of all places, neither of us expecting to find anyone. We had our first date in Guelph where Nat planned a picnic at Royal City park right across from the Boathouse (her favourite ice cream spot) and surprised Eric with knife and axe throwing (where she totally kicked his butt). We've been together ever since!

In complete romantic fashion, Eric proposed to Nat on a trip to Paris, France. It was Friday, July 15th, we spent the afternoon at the Louvre and then strolled around the surrounding area taking in the architecture and culture of Parisian life. That evening we ventured down to the Eiffel Tower for the third time that week for a picnic complete with wine, cheese, and a baguette. Shortly after we sat down in the same location Nat had picnicked at 3 years earlier where she watched a couple get engaged on Valentine's Day - Eric suggested they get a picture in front of the Eiffel Tower. Passing a phone off to a random stranger (little did Nat know the camera was set to video record), Eric came over to pose with Nat then dropped to one knee, asked her to marry him and of course, she said YES!
