United Airlines offers direct flights into Maui, however you want to check the plane arrangement as some flights only offer planes with 2 bathrooms which can be tricky for such a long flight.

Hawaiian Airlines

Hawaiian airlines offers direct flights into Maui as well. It is the only airline that is allowed to fly the large planes into this airport. All of their airplanes have multiple bathrooms, even the smaller planes. They offer complimentary meals as well which is nice for such a long flight.

This is a beautiful, high end resort. The views are incredible, there are many pools, and the service is phenomenal. There is a full service spa as well. There is also beach access with a beautiful swimming beach.

The Fairmont, Maui

This is a five star resort that offers top of the line service, food, and amenities. The pools are small, however there is a very nice beach area that is great for ocean swimming.

Eddie and I will be getting married in the Kihei area of Maui, so we recommend staying in Kihei or Wailea. Kihei is a more residential area whereas Wailea is more of a resort, high-end area.

Rental Car

Rental Car Information

Before renting a car, decide how much you will be using the car. We find that when we are in Maui, the amount of times we actually use the car is not worth the price to pay for one. At the large resort chains, the front desk and concierge can always call a cab to get you to where you need to go. Some hotels even allow you to rent a car for the day from them.
