After meeting in college at Georgia Tech, Domenic and I started dating, and we have been pretty much inseparable ever since. It was clear from the beginning that we had a lot in common - he loves food, travel, and dogs (almost) as much as me. Our relationship continued to grow, but when Domenic flew all the way to London (for a weekend!) to visit me on my study abroad program, I knew that he was "the one". After graduation, we did long distance for nearly two years until he made the move to Houston. Seven years, more Philadelphia sports games than I ever thought possible, and a global pandemic later, we're finally ready to make it official! We can't wait to celebrate this moment with all of you!
Although I've known that Natalie is "the one" for a while, I didn't start the engagement process until a few months into our first venture sharing an apartment. For those that know me, this shouldn't come as a surprise - I tend to be pragmatic, and I can admittedly be very particular about my living space! Soon after, I knew that I wanted to propose. As if it isn't hard enough to keep secrets from your significant other, I had to coordinate most of the engagement ring shopping while under COVID-19 quarantine with her (according to Natalie, I wasn't nearly as sneaky as I had thought). On December 19, 2020, I asked Natalie to marry me in Savannah's Troup Square (fun fact: "Jingle Bells" was written here). Despite fumbling the ring box and forgetting 90% of my speech, she said yes!
