How do I get to the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony and reception take place at Diamond Cove, and to get there -- you need to take a quick ferry from Portland (no cars on the island). Head to the Casco Bay Lines landing on the Maine State Pier in downtown Portland to purchase your ticket ($14 round trip, $7 for seniors) and board the ferry. To make the ceremony on time, you will need to get on the 1:15pm ferry. Remember -- the ferry waits for no one! Make sure to listen for the Diamond Cove stop (3rd stop, about 30 minutes). Venue is very short walk from that dock.

How do I get back to Portland?
Answer
Your ferry ticket covers your way back as well. After the reception ends at 9pm, we will all board the 9:30pm ferry back to Portland. There is an additional ferry at 10:50pm if anyone misses the 9:30pm.

What if I miss the ferry?
Answer
Try to make the ferry -- that will be the easiest and most cost-effective option! But if you do happen to miss it, there are are a few water taxi services you may call. Just keep in mind, these services book up early in the summer. Where do I park?
Answer
Locals strongly advise taking an Uber to the ferry due to summer crowds. However, limited parking is available at the Casco Bay Parking Garage, beside ferry landing.

What should I wear?
Answer
Welcome drinks: Casual – sundresses, khaki pants, etc. Wedding: Summer cocktail attire – dresses, suits, etc. Most important to be comfortable. We also suggest bringing a light jacket or sweater because it can get cool at night. Keep in mind it is midsummer in Maine along the water!

What shoes should I wear?
Answer
We suggest women wear comfortable, sturdy shoes like block heels, wedges or flats. You will be walking on grass!
