Yes! Buses will begin loading at Koch Lumber Park in downtown Aspen at 4:15 PM and will depart by 4:30 PM sharp. It's about a 30-minute bus ride to Pine Creek Cookhouse, so that will give you some time before the ceremony to take some pictures or use the restroom. An early bus will depart Pine Creek Cookhouse at 10 PM, followed by the later buses departing at 11:30 PM. Both buses will drop guests off at Eric's Bar, which is the location of the After Party and walking distance to all downtown accommodations. *THERE IS NO CELL PHONE SERVICE OR WIFI AT PINECREEK COOKHOUSE. THEREFORE, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ORDER UBERS/LYFTS FROM THE VENUE BACK TO TOWN.
Black tie optional. The ceremony will be outside, followed by cocktail hour on the restaurant's patio, followed by dinner and dancing inside.
The town of Aspen sits at about 8,000 ft above sea level, and Pine Creek Cookhouse (the wedding venue) at about 9,500 ft. It is incredibly easy to get dehydrated and experience altitude sickness when you're out here, so please drink plenty of water. You can buy canned oxygen at most grocery stores/pharmacies in town if you ever feel short of breath or dizzy. If you can, try to get into town a couple of days before the wedding so you have some time to acclimate. We want to make sure everyone has a great time and feels just as good!
If you're staying in downtown Aspen, you can walk to all restaurants and shops. If you're staying in Snowmass, you can order Lyfts/Ubers to get to downtown Aspen. If you're staying in Aspen and you're in a hurry, be sure to download the Downtowner app. The Downtowner is a complimentary door-to-door service within their service area.
