As some of you may know, we are high school sweet hearts, but Conner is also the "boy next door." He moved into the house next door the summer the two were going into 6th grade, and he has been smitten ever since. He can tell you the exact moment, place and what Natalie was wearing the first time he met her, as well as the amount of attitude she had during the interaction. Throughout junior high, Conner and Natalie were both teased by classmates about each other and ending up dating. Natalie was in denial and "anti-boys" and Conner was just the shy guy waiting for his moment. Many peers made bets about them ending up together, others would write Natalie's new initals (NAF) on her papers and a few even wrote "ship names" and predictions in their year books for their inevitable romance. It wasn't until Natalie was sixteen and old enough to drive, that she started driving Conner around to dates with other women and make homecoming proposals for him! It was through hanging out with him and his high school buddy's that she realized he is more than just "her little sisters best friends brother." He was eventually on the market again as an "available bachelor" and they continued to hangout. She waited her time for him to realize that she was "catching feelings" to finally make a move on him, and lets say the rest is history! While it may have taken Natalie a couple of years to come around to Conners good looks and stellar charm, she was head over heels for him once she fell for him. Through years of a strict 10pm curfew, "open door policy" to the basement hangouts, many FaceTime calls, a stretch of long distance and a stretch of college dorm hall mates, they continued to fall more in love with each together through every season. They are so excited to enter this new stage of their lives together and can not wait to become Mr. and Mrs. Filer!
