Our ATX Favorites
While you’re in town, we love grabbing tacos and a beer at Lazarus Brewing (the food and beer are GF), or sipping coffee at Noble Joe before strolling along Lady Bird Lake, part of the mighty Colorado River… but still technically a lake… don’t get Nat started! After your walk, head down South Congress to see the “I love you so much” mural and check out Allen’s Boots or Tecovas (Nat’s favorite). For more “rivers that are also lakes,” check out the view at The Oasis over Lake Travis.
No trip to Austin is complete without BBQ at Terry Black’s or La Barbecue (female-owned!). If you’re in the mood for live music, we love San Jac Saloon or Pete’s Piano Bar on “Dirty 6th.” For a little friendly competition, don’t miss mini-golf at Peter Pan, Holey Moley, or Tiger Woods' PopStroke. Fun fact: Natalie beat Chase once at putt-putt 🏌️♀️!
