The Wedding Party

Lanie Merrick

Maid of Honor

Natalie and Lanie have been friends since they were six years old, attending Holy Name, Girl Scouts, camping trips , talent shows, dance parties, ice cream adventures, and years of near-professional gingerbread house-making. The doors of their childhood homes were never locked and fridge always open, full of snacks for video game sleepovers that lasted until dawn. There wasn't a Christmas or Birthday party they missed, and no mystery they couldn't solve after hours and hours of Nancy Drew mysteries.

Jamie Delahoussaye

Best Man

Jamie is the best man to this wedding because of one reason: he has been through everything with Brien since he is was born. From the days of drawing on their Mother's walls, and the backseat fighting, they were inseparable. Jamie has been Brien's right-hand man through the good times and bad. Jamie is the silent rock behind Brien keeping him up. Without Jamie, Brien would not be the person he is today. Jamie used to be his catcher when he needed to work on pitching, he would be there financially when he got older and times were tough. Jamie's role as Brien's big brother helped him become the person he is today.

Maria Pinheiro

Bridesmaid

Natalie and Maria became fast friends in 2012 when Brien and Natalie first met. She was there on that very special night and struck up conversation on books and Loyola until they spent enough time together killing cockroaches and running from the possum that appeared in the pantry to become best friends. After eight years together, they're still known for explorations around the Quarter, cheese boards at any hour of the day, complaining about how Louisiana doesn't have a true winter, and it's still too hot out.

David Delahoussaye

Groomsman

David grew up apart from Brien, but it never deterred how close they were. Growing up in two different cities, but finding time to visit each other, helped created a bond between brothers that never felt closer. David is the oldest of the Delahoussaye brothers and always had to stop Brien from eating all of his Oreos when visiting him on weekend trips when he was younger. While in high school David made a point to go to Brien's football and baseball games. Now that they are both older they share many loves between David's children (Juliana and Jordyn) and Fantasy Football.

Gabby Lenz

Bridesmaid

Gabby and Natalie met unexpectedly during their early years at Loyola. They knew they were destined to be best friends when the conversations continued, and continued, never running out of things to talk about over happy hour. After classes, graduation, and adulthood, and love of self-care turned into a truly lifelong friendship of constant support that's only grown stronger throughout the years. Texas Roadhouse, their true love, is the only place they will celebrate any birthday, or major life event, with the best rolls of any establishment.

Michael Dewey

Groomsman

Michael and Brien met back in college in the Biever Dorms on the 3rd floor back in the Fall of 2008. They have shared many experiences between 3rd floor wrestling matches, sharing his Xbox with the entire floor while we skipped going to classes, and the constant bar hopping while in New Orleans. Michael's time with Brien was fun and thrilled, with many car adventures that led to many decisions that Brien's mom would wince at if she knew. Michael has been one of Brien's good friend since 2008 and their bond has never wavered. In 2011 they became housemates all they way through 2014. Between working together, drinking together, and raising our first dogs together their friendship is stronger than ever and is one of Brien's best friends, and safe to say "brother from another mother."

Victoria Lehew

Bridesmaid

Victoria is the reason Brien and Natalie are getting married! Without Hurricane Isaac in 2012, Natalie wouldn't know Victoria, and never would've been invited to the birthday party (for Michael Dewey) the night they met in September. After eight years, they still share recipes, makeup tips, love of QE, and memories from Loyola. Victoria has known Brien since her freshman year, and when Natalie arrived at that party, she knew they were a match made to last in love.

Joel Gonzalez

Groomsman

Joel and Brien were both recruited to play baseball at Loyola University of New Orleans. During freshman baseball orientation something helped these two find a bond between one another (beer at Tucks) that seemed natural, as if they were family members. Joel and Brien became housemates after freshman year where they experienced many struggles such as: doing dishes, taking our trash and cleaning out the bath tub of all the hair that existed. Joel and Brien continued their friendship even after Joel moved out. Joel isone of the many friends that Brien can count on and rely on for direction.

Lauren Good

Groomswoman

Lauren and Brien met in a very odd fashion to say the least. During a house party Lauren crashed the party (putting it lightly) and from that day on they established a friendship that brought many of the people we still know today together. Lauren is a powerhouse of woman and is always there when Brien needs an ear to talk too and someone to just enjoy a beer with. Lauren has become one of Brien's closest friends, where at one point he considered her a sister, and would do anything for her. Lauren and Brien share experiences from going out to bars, sharing dinners at Tori's, and many late night adventures going nowhere.
